Working Fire on Gravel Road

By David Crouch
March 31, 2020

On Tuesday March 31, WWFD was dispatched for a reported barn on fire on Gravel Rd.

Upon arrival, units found that a barn behind the residence was on fire. The first arriving apparatus pulled hose lines from the truck and were able to get water on the structure very quickly.

No people or animals were in the barn, just equipment. With the size of the fire, suppression was maintained from the outside.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Mutual assistance was provided by: Webster Fire as the RIC Team, Webster EMS and NEQ for ambulance standby. Penfield Fire and Ridge Culver Fire provided fill-ins at our stations.

West Webster is still here to respond while trying to maintain our safety and social distance!
