Working fire at Creek Hill Apartments

West Webster responded on Sunday February 25 for a report of an apartment fire at the Creek Hill Apartments on Empire BLVD. First arriving Chief found smoke from the apartment building. Next in arriving Chief Officer arrived onscene and declared a working fire. Interior crews found a kitchen fire and quickly extinguished the fire. Crews remained on scene for approximately two hours while checking for extension and conductings salvage. One resident was transported to a local hospital with smoke inhalation.

West Webster was assisted at the scene by Webster Fire, Webster Ambulance, North East Quadrant, Monroe County Sheriffs, and the Monroe County Fire Bureau. The Monroe County Fire Bureau is currently investigating the cause of the fire.

We would also like to thank Ridge Culver Fire Department and Penfield Fire Department for providing fill ins while the West Webster units were tied up onscene.
