Working Fire

At approximately 1:50 PM West Webster was dispatched for a possible dryer fire in a residence on San Ron Drive. 1C32 arrived on location with smoke showing from the 1st floor of a 2 story house. At approximately 2 PM 1C32 declared a working fire and Webster Fire Department was started as a RIC to the scene. Crews were able to contain the fire to the room of origin with some smoke damage in adjoining rooms. The fire was placed under control at 2:40 PM and the fire department worked on overhauling the damaged room. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
