| At approximately 7pm, West Webster was dispatched for a garage fire on Lauren Court off of Five Mile Line Road. 1C142 was onscene within a minute of the initial dispatch reporting a working fire. A short time later 1C142 advised that the fire was extending into the house, and 1C12 declared that we would make a defensive attack on the fire. After about 20 minutes the buld of the fire on the exterior of the building was knocked down and crews were able to enter the building and extinguish the fire inside. The fire was under control approximately 15 minutes later and crews were onscene until approximately 10:30 pm overhauling the scene. Red Cross is assisting the resident and the cause of the fire is under investigation. |
