House Fire on Weidel Road

At approximately 1800 hrs on Monday May 18, West Webster was dispatched for a house fire on Weidel Road. While responding, 911 dispatchers advised responding units that they were receiving multiple calls for a house on fire. Webster Police arrived on scene first and advised 911 that there was a working fire. P122 arrived on scene with a working fire with flames through the roof. Webster was immediately dispatched for the Rapid Intervention Crew and Penfield was dispatched to send an engine to fill into Gravel Road Station. After the arrival of first arriving units, Webster PD advised command that there were possibility of people inside. Primary search of the house began and during the search, Webster PD advised command that the occupants had been located. After approximately 45 minutes, the fire was placed under control with extensive overhaul needed. West Webster and Webster units remained on scene for approximately two hours to complete overhaul and assist the Monroe County Fire Bureau. Monroe County Fire Bureau and Webster Fire Marshall is currently conducting the investigation into the cause of the fire.
