Working Fire on Independence Drive

AT approximately 11:55 pm on Saturday April 25, West Webster was dispatched for a House Fire on Independence Drive. While en route, Webster Police provided updates that there was smoke from the house. Pumper 123 arrived on location and stretched a hand line to the house while crews began a primary search of the house.The fire was knocked down quickly and crews began performing salvage/overhaul operations. Webster 105 was dispatched as the RIC assignment. After interior confirmed that the fire was knocked down, Webster 105 was sent to fill in at West Webster Station 1. Crews remained on scene for approximately 2.5 hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Monroe County Fire Bureau.
