Well 2015 is upon us, and we have compiled some of our 2014 statistics. In 2014 we responded to 952 fire and 1,849 ambulance calls for service. We responded to 17 reported structure fires 10 of which turned out to be working fires, and the remaining 7 were fires caused by cooking. We responded to assist our neighboring departments at their fires 23 times. Of those 23 times we responded to the scene 10 times providing a variety of assistance from rapid intervention crew to assisting with active firefighting and overhaul. 13 of the times we were diverted or requested to back fill the neighboring departments fire station.

Our fire prevention committee had a very busy 2014 as well. They attended many community events, hosted firehouse tours, and took our trucks to about a dozen events. During that time we interacted with over 1,000 children and adults in the community, not including all those who came out to visit us at our open house in early October.

As always being a 24/7/365 operation has its difficulties but with the help and support of our dedicated members and the generosity of our community we are able to provide an invaluable service to our community. As always we could not do what we do without your assistance and support and for that we Thank you.
