| The assignment was quickly upgraded to a structure fire assignment with a backup call from the premise reporting a fire in the building.
Pumper 123 arrived on scene in 4 minutes to find the restaurant evacuated with a considerable smoke condition in the kitchen. After a quick search, firefighters were able to locate and extinguish the fire in the kitchen area.
Thanks to the quick actions of the restaurant staff, who promptly pulled the alarm, evacuated the building, and called 9-1-1 at the first sign of fire, there were no reported injuries and minimal damage to the restaurant.
