While running some exercises, they had a unexpected but very positive encounter with the U. S. Coast Guard Station Rochester guardsmen out on patrol.

The explorers were able to board the Coast Guards vessel, communicate with the Guardsmen and were able to gain some great knowledge.

Definitely a great, unplanned experience!
