Don't wait - check the date! Check the manufacture date on your smoke alarms today and replace smoke/CO alarms every 10 years. Installing smoke alarms in every bedroom, outside separate sleeping areas, and on every level of the home, including the basement. All alarms should be tested once a month. If the smoke alarm sounds, get outside and stay outside. Go to your safe meeting place and call the fire department from a cellphone or neighbors phone. Stay outside until the fire department says it's safe to go back inside.

Residents of West Webster Fire District can request a FREE smoke alarm with an install provided by your local firefighters. To request a smoke alarm, please call 585-241-4390 or email smoke.alarms.grc@redcross.org or fill out the request form on westwebsterfd.org under the "Public Information" tab.
