At approximately 9am West Webster was dispatched for a possible house on fire behind 938 Garden Lane. About two minutes after dispatch the Pumper 123 arrived on location to find flames from a structure and immediately declared a working fire. The crew from 123 immediately began working on fire supression. The second unit on location was Rescue 128 whose crew immediately entered the house and started a search of the premise. Firefighters discovered a dog in the house which was safely brought out and turned over to police and animal control to handle. No other occupants were home at the time of the fire. The bulk of the fire and damage was contained to the garage area. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
