We are very saddened to share with everyone the loss of one of our own. John Bommele, affectionately known as “Pops” to many, passed away earlier Monday evening. John has had more than 40 years of service with West Webster and served in Vietnam prior to that. He served in multiple positions while with us, rising to the rank of Captain. He’ll be remembered for the great stories he would tell around the fire house and his sense of humor. He was someone you could always count on for a good laugh.
