House Fire on Hills Pond Road

West Webster firefighters responded at about 3:20 pm Thursday for the report of a garage fire on Hills Pond Rd. First arriving units found heavy fire from the garage that had spread into the house as well as an exposure to the neighbors house. It took West Webster Firefighters approximately one hour to get the fire under control.

West Webster was assisted on scene by Webster FD, Ridge Culver FD, Brighton FD, Irondequoit ALS, Northeast Quadrant, and the Monroe County Fire Bureau. Penfield, Laurelton, and Lincoln provided fill in companies.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Monroe County Fire Bureau.
