House fire on Notre Dame Drive

At approximately 3 pm on Sunday August 5th, West Webster was dispatched for a garage fire on Notre Dame Drive. First arriving Chief was onscene with heavy smoke from the garage and declared a working fire which brought Webster Fire as the Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC). West Webster had the fire under control within about twenty minutes, but would remain on scene for an extensive period of time for overhaul. Two residents were evaluated on scene by EMS personnel.

West Webster was assisted on scene by Webster Fire, Ridge Culver Fire, Webster Ambulance, Northeast Quadrant, and Monroe County Fire Bureau. Fill-is to West Webster were provided by Penfield Fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Monroe County Fire Bureau.
