The Fire District is run by five (5) Board
of Fire Commissioners, each elected to a
five-year term of office by the registered
voters of the Fire District. Yearly, one
office becomes vacant. Any resident of the
fire district may run for membership on the
Board of Fire Commissioners.
The Fire Commissioners meet monthly and are
responsible for managing the tax monies
collected for your fire protection. They
authorize the purchase of all required
equipment used by the firefighters, appoint
the Chief Officers and are legally
responsible for the overall operation of the
Fire Department |
