At approximately 10pm Webster Fire Department was dispatched for a possible house on fire on Mohawk Street in the Village of Webster. While units were responding they were advised that 911 was receiving several backup calls for the house on fire with the possibility that another house was also starting to catch. Webster's chief 1C10 was on location a short time after dispatch reporting a working fire and requesting West Webster started as a Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC). 1C22, 1C32 and Pumber 123 responded to the scene to assist. The fire was under control in about 40 minutes and Webster crews were performing overhaulling operations until about 1:30 am. There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
