On Monday January 11th at approximately 10:15 pm West Webster responded to a reported chair on fire in the family room. First in units found heavy fire from the rear of the structure. A report from a neighbor alerted responders that the occupant was still inside. An aggressive search found the lone occupant unresponsive in the house. The victim was removed to awaiting EMS crews who started life saving measures, a CYANO Kit was administered and the victim regained pulses and respirations. The fire was brought under control in about 30 minutes. Sadly the victim passed away two days later. The cause of fire is under investigation.
