For our November Member of the Month, the Line and Civil Office would like to recognize two firefighters. The two members have been an integral part of the West Webster organization for close to one hundred years combined service. It is with great honor that we recognize Firefighter Gerry Kohlmeier and Firefighter Gene Kohlmeier as the November Members of the Month .

As long standing firefighters within West Webster, these two gentleman have been role models and leaders as they have been instrumental in so many aspects. These two, also known as the “Twins” have been extremely active during their long standing tenure within West Webster. You can always count on both of the gentleman to be on the call at 2 am driving apparatus or making sure that the scene is safe by providing all of us with a safe work zone at traffic accidents.

Gene and Gerry are natural teachers. Over their tenure at West Webster, both have worked tirelessly to help all of us learn and grow. The extensive knowledge and experience of the “Twins” has helped saved many houses within our response area.

Both Gene and Gerry are known as the quiet workers. You will constantly find both of them taking on a project, looking for ways to make our organization better, or just pitching in an extra set of hands. There are so many things that have improved or made better at West Webster because Gerry and Gene have put their extra special touch to it.

Gerry and Gene continue to actively participate in many organizations throughout the county providing their expertise and knowledge to help any way they can.
