The West Webster Fire Department was requested to assist a disabled boat that had begun to drift towards the rocky shoreline on Lake Ontario on Sunday, July 9. West Webster Marine 126 responded and was able to secure a tow-line to the disabled boat. With the help of the USCG the boat was towed to safety in the Irondequoit Bay.
